Sweeping up rodent droppings, or vacuuming rat droppings can cause it to breakup and become airborne which if inhaled can be dangerous due to diseases they carry.
Any quantity of droppings needs to cleaned up carefully, but even more so if there is a large deposit or deposits.
Our rat and rodent dropping cleanup and sanitisation service goes deeper than a surface-level clean, into hard to reach spaces behind and beneath units, kitchen appliances, into building crevices via an air space disinfection (fogging).
The cleanup process can be labour intensive and requires the correct products, time and personal protective equipment.

Bird Dropping Cleanup / Pigeon Guano Cleanup (pigeon poo)

Pigeon guano (droppings) can be very hazardous.
Pathogens such as Ornithosis, Listeria, and E-coli amongst others which can be passed through droppings and by the birds themselves.
When dry, the droppings can become airborne leading to respiratory complaints and breathing problems.

Mould is classified by the HSE as a hazardous substance, which can cause serious illness and even death through respiratory illness.
New rules which now require social housing landlords to fix damp and mould issues to strict deadlines or rehouse tenants in safe accommodation, have become law.
